Kokomo the Bipawd Bullie

Hello, my name is Kokomo, the bipawd bullie.  I was born deaf and found as a stray in Miami about 5 years ago.  After being bounced around from foster home to foster home, I found my way to my forever mommy.  2.5 years ago, I started limping and we found that I had osteosarcoma in my right distal radius (front leg/wrist area).  After amputation and chemo, I was in remission for 2 years and 3 months.  Unfortunately, 3 months ago, I fractured my left femur (back leg) and we discovered my osteosarcoma was back.  My mom had to make a really hard decision of either putting me to sleep or amputating my second leg, and in the end, she chose the second amputation.  We restarted chemo, but after 2 cycles of Carboplatin, my chest x-ray now showed a lung metastasis.  We have stopped Carboplatin and now I am on Palladia.  Please follow our journey as we battle this horrible disease.
