June 10, 2015 ~ initial diagnosis of osteosarcoma: Right front leg amputation, 6 cycles of carboplatin, 6 months of Palladia ~ in remission for 2 years and 3 months ~ September 15, 2017 ~ osteosarcoma recurrence in Left femur: Left hindlimb amputation, 2 cycles of carboplatin November 20, 2017 ~ lung metastasis, stopped carboplatin and switched to Palladia
The 2 weeks following the surgery were challenging and draining to say the least.
